A Dead Man Gives Back: Tales from the Ninth Tower Ep 3

Tonight, Lothar Tuppan presents a well-known story that has been told in many different versions. However, this particular version lives behind a red door. The story takes place in a huge house filled with beds that are softer, stairs that are taller, sunshine that is brighter, and the scent of delicious cooking everywhere. In this house lives a child who follows the delicious smells like an eager and greedy wolf. One day, the child finds a room with a red door and inside? Well you'll just have to listen in see, won't you. This story is a testament to the power of honor, respect, and love, and is sure to keep you captivated, beginning to end.

What is Oral Storytelling?

Oral storytelling is the act of telling a story aloud, usually without the use of written or visual aids. It’s an ancient form of art that has been used to convey history, culture, and entertainment for thousands of years. The storyteller may memorize the events of the story, but they often modify it during each telling to tailor it to the audience and maximize its impact. Unlike recorded media, there are no do-overs in oral storytelling since it is tradionally performed in front of a live audience.
