Doug MacDonald

Doug MacDonald

Artist and Musician

Doug Mac owes his dive into lowbrow art, camp horror, and hard rock to his father—whether he wants to thank or blame him for it. Splitting his time between playing bass for heavy rock outfit American Acid and creating wildly bizarre, over-the-top illustrations, Mac has built a career fueled by a love for the outrageous. A regular contributor to Ol’ Skool Rodz Magazine and Girls and Corpses Magazine, he’s also crafted around 40 to 50 album covers and produced artwork that caters to fans of hot rods, zombies, chaos, explosions, and larger-than-life aesthetics.
